Baby it’s Cold Outside January 18, 2011

I got up this morning and walked the dog and it was 5 below zero.
That’s degrees. Five degrees below zero – fahrenheit.
I’m still cold.
And my nose is still running.
I’m going to spend the evening wrapped around a nice, warm cuppa. . . something, then I’m getting into my fleecy pajamas and going to bed early.
I’ll be back in tomorrow. Stay warm.

I’ll refrain from comment, because I can no longer wrap my brain around -5. I guess when I was a kid in NE Ohio, before my nerve endings grew in, I could tolerate that. Now, I bow down to those who still can.

Dude, it was hideous. We seldom get that cold, which is worse, because we’re not used to it. Even the DOG didn’t want to play, and he loves cold and snow!
